Based in Atlanta, Giving Kitchen provides emergency assistance to food service workers through financial support and a network of community resources.

Giving Kitchen provides financial assistance to food service workers, based on financial need and a defined set of criteria, through their Direct and Matching Financial Assistance. They’ve also created a referral program to serve as a connection to social services for food service workers called Stability Network.

Giving Kitchen is committed to serving the food service community during the COVID-19 pandemic. Giving Kitchen will continue to support food service workers with compassion and care by providing financial assistance to those in crisis due to an unexpected illness, injury, death of an immediate family member or housing disaster in Georgia. Food service workers in Georgia who have been diagnosed with COVID-19 and/or those who are under doctor’s orders for a mandatory quarantine should ask for help.

Other Ways to Help 1 Food service workers experiencing hardship including unemployment or underemployment due to restaurant closings are still be eligible for resource referrals through their Stability Network.

Giving Kitchen is not currently accepting visitors to our office. If you need to get in touch with one of Giving Kitchen’s staff members, they strongly encourage you to first seek answers to questions on their website. If necessary, please email them or call 404-254-1227.
